Inside the box: the TV itself, two plastic stands with rubber base pads (can be configured centre or wide-stance), power cord, four screws for the stands, two AAA batteries, and the remote. The design is clean and minimalistic — almost zero bezels on three sides with a slim lower bezel carrying the Xiaomi branding in the centre and the Mini LED logo on the right. The 308 dimming zones on the 55-inch deliver genuine dark scene performance. In tests with dark movie scenes like The Dark Knight, blacks appear deep and detailed — not the murky grey of a standard LED panel. White blocks adjacent to black show no visible blooming in standard viewing conditions. Contrast ratio is approximately 5000:1 on the 55-inch and 6000:1 on the 75-inch, which is genuinely impressive for a non-OLED panel.

Key Display Modes

Gaming is where the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 genuinely surprises. The India model’s native 4K 144Hz panel (not the DLG workaround of the global model) combined with HDMI 2.1, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) makes it a genuinely capable gaming TV. When a PS5 or Xbox is connected via HDMI, ALLM automatically switches the TV into its lowest-latency mode without any manual intervention — game input response improves significantly.

PS5 testing across a full week of gameplay sessions confirmed flawless performance. Frame delivery is smooth at 4K 120fps in supported titles. No tearing, no stutter, no visual lag. Bass is present and audible, treble is crisp, and dialogue clarity is good at moderate volumes. DTS Virtual:X creates a convincing width in the soundstage for casual watching. The Dialogue Enhancer is a useful setting for English movies or content in foreign languages — it separates voice from background audio and brings dialogue forward in the mix.
