βοΈ Selection Process & Merit List Tie-breaking
Selection is based on merit obtained in Written Examination. After examination of eligibility, applicants shall be empaneled on the basis of total marks in written test.
Tie-breaking Principles (if same marks)
Priority 2: Date of Birth (older candidate placed above)
Priority 3: Alphabetical order of candidate’s name (as per SAP record)
Note: The reference data for date of appointment, date of birth, and name will be fetched from SAP. Candidates are advised to verify correctness with concerned officials.

- 1. Selected employees will be posted across various areas of SECL as per vacancy and requirement.
- 2. Salary will be protected as per rules.
- 3. If selected candidate does not join at the place of posting OR requests cancellation of selection after joining, they will be debarred from any future selection process for non-officer grade for 2 years from the date of cancellation order.
- 4. Candidates who have previously been selected through departmental selection after 2024 but did not join or got their selection cancelled will have their application rejected for this notification.
- 5. TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in written examination as per SOIL rules.
